If all that comes out of this is friendship,

I want you to know that I will love you as a friend just as much as I would love you as a lover

and that I will always care about you

because your voice will be just as calming as if we get into some silly teenage troubles or sharing our deepest feelings in the middle of the night,

your smile and your laugh will stay just as bright in my eyes as when it comes after we shamelessly hug each other or when you were watching me make an idiot out of myself

and this feeling I have towards you will remain whether you're holding my hand or handing me my drink.
