New Year's Muse

6:15 PM

People! It's almost the end of January and I only managed to write my first post of twenty seventeen today. I had the chance to spend the new years' eve with my friends. My gratitude goes to Nada and her mother and her family for hosting such a filling barbecue night for the ten-ish of us. We had grilled-everything (chicken, prawns, sausages, corns), veggies salad, aaand her newly-wed cousins treated us boxes of pizza. *burps* A friend I hadn't seen for soooo long, Gaza, showed up a little late but I'm so glad he did. Because I knew he'd dress up fashionably and that means an impromptu film-roll spending time.

I first met him somewhere in the middle of 2013 and the whole friendship developed ever since. Now he's got longer hair with some man-bun to wear, certainly not the length of hair allowed at our school. He'd grown so much taller and leaner than the last time I saw him, yet it had only been weeks.

Gaza and I stayed up watching Miss Perigrine's Home for Peculiar Children (which I totally didn't understand because it was rather bizarre to me) and we waited to catch the sunrise. It was quite cloudy and difficult to capture the moment using our cameras, actually. But the purplish sky did appear and it was pretty. I didn't know Depok had such pretty sky!

As we waited and waited for the sun to finally said hello, I captured my denim-wearing friend, both in digital and 35mm format, in the mean time, we also talked about how silly 2016 was, and that morning I was his photographer. You're most welcome.

Meet Gazarasta, an 18 year-old Libra. He was wearing his Jakarta tee topped with his father's denim shirt. And he's my muse to this photo diary.

Who are you and what do you do?
Gazarasta The Great. *laughs* Well, I do all the things I put my heart in. Once I do it, there's  no way back. I'm fueled mostly by the supports of people around me.

What is a perfect day to you?
A perfect day is when I look good the whole day.

What food describes yourself the most? Why?
A super-spicy instant ramen, just like me. Because only certain people can get along with my 'spiciness', even then, once they get to know me, I'm really not that spicy.

Where do you see yourself when you're 20?
At a hospital, as a doctor. *fingers crossed*

Name us three simplest things that make you happy!
Cheerleading, good friends, good food.
